I was cleaning out my closet yesterday and decided to keep only those things I actually wear...when I was done, I looked at the pile on the floor...yellow, red, blue, green...and then at the things hanging up...black, white, navy, grey...Hmmm...how boring. I almost put the colors back in, but the practical side of me (which is a pretty small fraction) decided to keep it how I had it.
Then I went to blog today and decided to do a fun post on fashion and realized, a lot of my pictures are black, white, grey, tan. I decided I need to not be so dull. But until I become more of the "life-of-the-party" type, I decided to embrace my boring self (not literally) and do a post on fabulous black and whites.
Isn't it so classy and cute?

so fun...I know what you mean about black and white. When I am shopping I always pick up the black/white/grey/brown colors first. Then I think...no no no, that is so boring and I have so much of those colors already. So I just grab a random color and then I hate it when I get home and they b/c my "homey shirts". I guess I always feel like if I buy and wear only those neutral colors then everyone will think I just wear the same thing every day. Why do I care what anyone else thinks anyway...my goodness, just buy what I like. Ok, this is ridiculous, I am turning my comment into my journal entry for the day. goodbye :)

I adore black and white! I always feel a lot more sophisticated and chic when I wear black. My boring basics translate to my house (as you know!) and I end up "dressing" my house in black and white too. The great thing though???....it never goes out of style! I think that's why we all love the combo so much! I have a basic black skirt that I got for my rehearsal dinner 8+ years ago and I still wear it almost every other Sunday to church because it's still in style (or at least I think it is:) ).
