Being married to a mason, I see brick and stone in a completely different way now. I appreciate an all brick house, curved brick walls or arches, detail like herringbone, etc. So, I thought I would do a little post about brick. I thought about doing stone too, but decided I will save it for a separate post.

I'm always asking Jarod...could you do that? He used to say, 'I'm not sure...probably'. But the more experience he has gotten, the more he says 'yep' to answer that question. I remember I asked him recently about this next picture, and he hesitated, but still said that he is sure he could figure it out. I don't doubt him at all. Every obstacle that he has come to, he has always figured it out...such a talented guy.
