Since I have been doing a lot of 'simplicity' posts, and might be getting boring for some of you,
I thought I would do one on color.
I LOVE color. I have just become very careful with what I put on my walls...since it can be so easily overdone.
I think this green kitchen is fun, but feels a little overdone
and wouldn't like to cook in it for long.
Another fun idea and great color, but I would get tired of it.
Isn't this so cute? But can you imagine seeing it EVERY day...a lot of the day?

I agree that too much can be overkill. In fact, my favorites you posted (the navy family room - EVEN with the antlers on the wall) and the turquoise dining room - the colors seem more like another accent than a "wall color." LOVED those two. : )
i seem to love all the same things as you. too bad you aren't here to decorate my house for me. :(

Yes, the kids are growing up, and I am really loving being able to communicate with them! They bring a lot of laughter to our home. It was so fun to see Jarod & Will a month or so ago, and it is nice to watch your family grow through your blog! We're kind of home bodies at this stage of life, but hopefully we'll emerge and make it to Bloomington sometime. Until then, blogging is great!
oh my word. LOVE the one with the rainbow cabinets and all white everything else. Perfection. Loving that is probably part of why your house looks like a magazine and why mine borders on gaudy. But I LOVE color!
