Whenever we are in Chicago for a day I love walking down a side street to see the beautiful homes and imagine living there for a few moments.
I came across this beauty (online) the other day. Isn't it so charming and fabulous on the inside.

Love the chandelier, and of course the black fireplace.
How would you like to eat dinner here...and I wouldn't mind going up and down these beautiful stairs.
Such a great family room. I always have a dream of someday having a long skinny dining table like this one and putting it in my family room. I did have mine pictured by the french doors, but this way is so much nicer, because it doesn't block the view.
And isn't this den, or man's lair so great? It's masculine, but not so much that a woman couldn't feel comfortable here too.

They are fun to look at...but interestingly you didn't mention the price....I can only imagine!

Boox, you are so funny. I debated...but thought it would dampen the beauty. It is $5million...with about $20,000-$30,000 in property taxes. Hmmm...not in our budget.

Fi-IVE Mill-ION?!?! I would have guessed 1.5 million...WOW!!!! But yes, gorgeous!!! I think those homes in Chicago are crazy how they don't look like much from the outside but from the inside they're crazy beautiful!
